Purpose

The Canadian Internet Use Survey (CIUS) measures household access to the Internet and individual online behaviours including electronic commerce.

Introduction statement

Statistics Canada is conducting a survey on Internet use. The survey will help us better understand how the Internet is changing our lives and the economy.

Even if [you do not use/no one in your household uses] the Internet, it is important that we obtain your views.

Your answers to this voluntary survey will be kept confidential and only used for statistical purposes.
