Reference period of change - July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023

Effective March 2024, the frequency of the Forage Seed Usage Survey changed from annual to biennial and as a result, the survey will not be collected in 2024. Collection for the survey will resume in 2025.

Reference period of change - July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021

The 2020 Annual Forage Seed Usage Survey was not collected due to COVID-19. The survey will be conducted for 2021, with the data scheduled for release in March 2022.

Reference period of change - July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019

Instrument design - As of 2019, the questionnaire is offered in electronic format for use on Statistics Canada website. The survey can now be self completed by respondents as well as on the phone with an interviewer.

Reference period of change - July 1, 2001 to June 30, 2002

Target population - The target population includes all known wholesalers of forage seed in Eastern Canada.
