Sampling - ATDP employed a weighted sample design until reference year 2014. Starting in reference year 2015, ATDP is based on a census of tax-filers thus eliminating sampling and subsequent weighting.

Reference period of change - 2007

As of the 2007 program year, the Canadian Agricultural Income Stabilization (CAIS) was replaced by AgriStability and AgriInvest.

Reference period of change - 2003

Starting with reference year 2003, the Canadian Agricultural Income Stabilization (CAIS) program replaces the Net Income Stabilization Account program. Therefore, the Net Income Stabilization Account and Taxation Data Program is now referred to as the Canadian Agricultural Income Stabilization and Taxation Data Program (CAIS/TDP).

Reference period of change - 2001

At the request of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, the Taxation Data Program had been referred to as the Net Income Stabilization Account and Taxation Data Program (NISA/TDP), starting with reference year 2001, to give more visibility to the NISA program.
