Reference period of change - September 2018

Beginning with reference period September 2018, the existing three programs 5014 (Investment in Non-residential Building Construction), 5155 (Investment in New Housing Construction) and 5016 (Residential Construction Investment) have been consolidated under program 5014.

The updated 5014 program is called Investment in building construction and changed frequency from quarterly to monthly.

Reference period of change - first quarter 2014

Since January 2014, Census Metropolitan Areas link to Standard Geographical Classification has been updated from SGCCMA2006 to SGCCMA2011.

Reference period of change - first quarter 2007

Revisions and seasonal adjustment - Since January 2007, seasonal adjustment has been performed by the X12-ARIMA method. However, the 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006 seasonally adjusted data have been revised with X12-ARIMA.
