As of reference month January 2019, customer count data has been published in our Monthly Natural Gas Transmission data table (25-10-0058).

Reference period of change - January 2016

In January 2016, changes were made to the Monthly Natural Gas Transmission Survey and the Monthly Natural Gas Distribution Survey. In addition, the Monthly Natural Gas Storage Survey was introduced to provide measures on gas storage characteristics related to inventories and flows.

Target population - The target population is now comprised of all establishments in Canada engaged in pipeline transmission of natural gas (NAICS 486210) under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS 2012).
