Age of person, category

Age refers to the age of a person (or subject) of interest at last birthday (or relative to a specified, well-defined reference date).

Person refers to an individual and is the unit of analysis for most social statistics programs.

The data for this variable are reported using the following classifications and/or lists:

• Age Categories by Five Year Age Groups, Regrouping Variant, with 15 Years and Over
• Age group - List of age - Minus 1 year until 100 years and older
