Performance of sprinkler system refers the usefulness of a sprinkler system during a fire incident, whether a system was installed and whether it operated.

Fire incident refers to a destructive incident involving fire which causes deaths or injuries or which destroys or damages property having a value that may be expressed in terms of dollars.
