Reason for non-evacuation refers to the reasons that explain why a person could not escape a fire incident which resulted in casualty.

Fire incident refers to a destructive incident involving fire which causes deaths or injuries or which destroys or damages property having a value that may be expressed in terms of dollars.

The data for this variable are reported using the following classifications and/or lists:
