Allergy of person, status

Allergy refers to a damaging immune response by the body to a substance, for example, pollen, fur, a particular food, or dust, to which it has become hypersensitive.

Person refers to an individual and is the unit of analysis for most social statistics programs.

The data for this variable are reported using the following classifications and/or lists:

• Allergy status
