Type of birth of mother, category

Type of birth refers to the plurality of a delivery, that is, whether the delivery results in one or more live births or fetal deaths (stillbirths). Birth includes the delivery of at least one liveborn infant. Multiple births includes the delivery of twins, triplets, quadruplets, quintuplets or more.

Mother refers to a woman that have a relation to a child by giving birth and/or by raising the child.
