Contributions to percent change in international import of services, proportion
Contributions to percent change refers to the contribution of a sub-aggregate to the percent change in an aggregate. For example, if consumer expenditures increased 2% and the contribution to the percent change by motor vehicle purchases was 1%, then motor vehicle purchases have accounted for half of the increase in consumer expenditure.
International imports of services refers to current payments arising out of transactions in services between residents and non-residents (abroad). Services include travel, freight and shipping, business services, government transactions, financial intermediation and other services.
