Interest in hunting, fishing or trapping refers to whether or not a person, who did not hunt, fish or trap in the last year, is interested in hunting, fishing or trapping.
Person refers to an individual and is the unit of analysis for most social statistics programs.
The data for this variable are reported using the following classifications and/or lists:
- Status of interest in hunting, fishing and trapping
In the Aboriginal Peoples Survey, the classification 'Status of Interest in hunting, fishing and trapping' applies only to those persons who did not hunt, fish or trap in the last year.
