Volunteer hours of person, number
Volunteer hours refers to the total hours spent by the person, in a specified time period, in activities that he or she did without pay on behalf of groups or organizations. This includes, for example, hours spent providing unpaid help to schools, religious organizations, sports or community associations.
Person refers to an individual and is the unit of analysis for most social statistics programs.
