Weekly hours including overtime refers to the number of hours worked by an employee per week, including any overtime. Weekly hours applies to hourly and salaried employees only and excludes businesses that could not be classified to a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code.

Employee refers to any person receiving pay for services rendered in Canada or for an employer paid absence, and for whom the employer is required to complete a Canada Revenue Agency T4 slip. These persons may work on a full-time, part-time, casual or temporary basis.
