Dependant status of person, status
Dependant status refers to the non-filing members of a family. We do not attempt to measure dependency in any way, but are able to identify certain non-filing family members, and include these in the total counts of people in a given area.
Person refers to an individual and is the unit of analysis for most social statistics programs.
