Difficulties accessing routine or on-going care of person, proportion
Difficulties accessing routine or on-going care refers to whether or not the person reported having had difficulties accessing routine or on-going medical care for him or herself or for a family member, during a specified period. "Routine or on-going care" refers to health care provided by a family or general physician including an annual check-up, blood tests or routine care for an on-going illness (for example, prescription refills)."Family member" refers to an individual living in the same dwelling as the person, who is related to the person, and for whose care the person is responsible.
Person refers to an individual and is the unit of analysis for most social statistics programs.
